Also going down that very same night is an oddball treat from our favorite oddball booking agent. Mark Nussbaum of Manic Productions is bringing Russian rockers Mumiy Troll to Cafe Nine. You probably haven`t heard of the band. Don`t feel bad. Unless you`re from Russia, you`re in the majority. These guys have been around since the early `80s, making an intoxicating blend of music that, I think, can be best summed up as gypsy garage. If only Little Steven played more bands with a European feel … maybe then you`d have heard of Mumiy Troll.
